A Note from Laura
As a compassionate yet straightforward College Advisor, I help students reach beyond what they have been told is their limit and achieve the highest possible results, based on their unique abilities.
Many young people I have worked with received full merit scholarships from Ivy and selective colleges and universities as well as acceptance into institutions appropriate for their needs and circumstances.
I attribute the above mentioned outcomes to my theatrical background. Creating a character that is believable starts with learning how to read and pick up cues from other people. I apply these skills, along with my intuition, to understand distinct learning styles, emotions, and individualities. This skill allows me to personalize effective strategies and engage young people in a way that helps effectively and successfully share their stories and accomplishments with the colleges and universities where they have chosen to apply.
Over my 24 year career, I have worked with, and successfully placed, over 800 students who have gone on to achieve their goals.
