Managing HSAFP Members on Connect
To manage your new chapter members as the Chapter President, you will need to do the following:
- Get all chapter members to sign up for Connect
- Use Connect for Communication
- Use Connect for the HSAFP Curriculum

- Get all chapter members to sign up for Connect
All members will need to sign up for Connect, and you will need to ensure they do so!
Participating on Connect ensures members are fully integrated into HSAFP and can access all the curriculum, resources, and updates, available for both the local and national level. - Use HSAFP Connect for Communication
To effectively manage your new members, ensure you use HSAFP Connect for all chapter communications, including:- Communicating with the HSAFP Executive Team.
- Communicating with physicians, admissions specialists, and more on Connect public discussion boards.
- Regularly updating members with relevant information and announcements.
- Responding promptly to any questions and comments from members.
- Reviewing and managing group requests to keep your chapter organized.
- Use HSAFP Connect for the HSAFP Curriculum
Not sure what to do for your chapter meetings? The HSAFP Curriculum provides you with at least one meetings’ worth of content for your chapter!
Currently, hundreds of schools across the globe participate in our monthly curriculum, so make sure to also share your curriculum experiences on social media to connect with others and to show admissions committees the great things you have accomplished with your chapter!
